東西同伴The confluence of East and West in the 21st Century
在今日，全球化減少了許多文化上的差異。各式各樣的產品皆大規模在全世界各也銷售，使得地方的物個、零售店、以至娛樂模式均變得非常相似。同時，衛星電視及網路超越了國界，破壞了政府操攛人民的意思。科技也以此方式抺剎了文化的特性。全球化比起古時的英國、法國或比利時等殖民地政權，甚至是在二十世紀出現的激進主義、共產主義等意識形態庍段，無論在侵蝕當地方化方面、或使人民對物質有相同一致的渴望上，都來得更加有力。在某程度上，廿一世紀全球化與以上提及的力量有所不同，它（全球化）熱衷於給予人們經濟發展的機會。
